Memesteroid
This game was developed for Coursera Game Design and Development with Unity 2020 Specialization course. It is a remake of another game that I developed with a friend for college.
I added the following features to the course base project:
- New asteroid enemy that can create smaller versions of itself when destroyed
- New mechanic in which the player must protect a planet from enemies
- Different types of weapons with different speed, fire rate, fire multiple projectile or won't allow enemies to self clone
- Playground level where for 60 seconds the player won't die on contact and enemies are respawn if they are all killed
